Checked out SATCO Cookeville yesterday evening; as expected. It is...what it is...a taco shack....and I am glad we have it. SATCO should do well here; however, you can get better tacos across the street at less cost.

I recommend the steak fajita tacos; the queso is a meal to itself. The chili taco is interesting...messy but interesting.

Thanks for the review. Have you ever been to the original SATCO in Nashville? If so, how does ours compare? I'm still waiting for the crowds to thin a little before I head over there and also for the weather to cool down just a bit more before I eat on their patio. Having said that, I do love their queso so I might not wait very long.

I have driven by the SATCO on West End many, many times...but have never stopped in.

Line moves quickly.

The Bull & Thistle in Gainesboro has introduced their new Executive Chef straight from Ireland.....so perhaps there is fire to the above smoke or for the rumor of a Westside eatery, or perhaps Chef Barry went back to Ireland.

Cool! I wonder where it's going to go. The old Applebee's building? Closer to TTU? Downtown?

The former Applebee's building seems awfully large for a Moe's. Great news anyway!

Maybe the Interstate Center? The building would be a good fit and Anchor Down has shown that a good restaurant will do well on that end of Interstate Drive.
