I just know the planning commission approved everything. Haven't heard anything else yet.

How soon could an official announcement regarding tenants come?

CBL has "featured stores" listed as Academy Sports, Ross Dress for Less and Petsmart.

Shoppes at Eagle Point - Under Development

I'm still surprised at PetSmart. With PetCo and Pet Supplies Plus already in Cookeville, I figured that segment of the big box category killers was already covered. Anyway, I'll be eager for the rest of the retailers to be announced. From what I recall, the developers said they'll all be new to Cookeville. I assume Publix and the others who had been previously listed (Five Below, Ulta, Shoe Carnival, and others) aren't "featured stores" yet because they haven't yet dotted their i's and crossed their t's?

Restaurant watch: Chipotle and Panera were the only announced if I recall correctly.

Yes, I think those are the only ones reported in the paper. Someone here at c-d said they heard Five Guys was going to be there. I suspect Panera will be one of the outparcels. With Panda Express expanding in TN, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll be part of it. I'd be happy with a Red Robin, too. And a Culvers.

I think I perhaps remember that 5 Guys was announced by the paper. I believe a scaled down, smaller Red Robin, like the one in Spring Hill would do well here.

I wonder if "featured stores" are those that have officially leased. Publix is mentioned as an anchor, but it is not included in the "featured stores".

I would not mind a Culver's if the location operator knows how to operate a quick service restaurant properly.

I have heard horror stories of a Culver's in South Carolina. Vehicles parked past the drive thru window only to receive under-cooked food or over-burnt food ten minutes after paying at the single drive thru window.
