They did add the mobile ordering and quick pick-up though. I've used the Wal-Mart pickup a couple times and, surprisingly, love it. Saves so much time. I haven't used Kroger pick-up yet but I am looking forward to not going in the store but yet getting sale items.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before or not, but I heard from a friend last week that the old Sears will be split up into two new store fronts. Lips were sealed on what exact stores though.

The first T-Mobile store in the region is about to open there. Right now the closest T-Mobile store is in Lebanon. An urgent care clinic called Urgent Team, based in Nashville, is also opening there as is a spa called Fire and Ice. The developer said there are several other tenants coming but wasn't at liberty to reveal them yet.

Today's UCBJ confirms that the new owners of Jackson Plaza will divide the old Sears into 2 stores which will be announced early fall.

“At this point we cannot share names,” John M. Alday, III, Rise Partners spokesperson, told the UCBJ. “The space will be divided into two tenant spaces and filled with national retailers. We plan on starting construction in the early fall and should be able to announce specific names at that time.”

Workout Anytime is going to double in size from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet in a new location in Willow Tree Plaza, the shopping center currently anchored by Harbor Freight, Aaron's, and Save-a-lot. Workout Anytime might keep both locations open, but the plan is to close the smaller location when the new one is opened which they hope will be by the end of September.

What is it ever going to take to get Home Depot to come to Cookeville?
We are building a house and suffering the loss.

Hobby Lobby is reportedly moving to Jackson Plaza and will take over half of the old Sears building. Even though it doesn't look like it, they say it'll still be more space than they currently have in Towne Plaza.
