Looking to retire and have settled on a couple of developments on Center Hill Lake and would like additional insight, advice or pros/cons on the areas. The first is the community around Riverwatch Golf Course (Sparta address) and the second is the area down Coconut Ridge Rd (Smithville address). We've looked at existing homes but nothing delivers on both house and view so it looks like we will be building. Also if anyone has any suggestions on builders in the area that would be great - please pm me about that. We love the area and it seems to meet all our requirements - can't wait to make the move! This is my first posting so thanks for your help.

If you're a golfer, I'd go with Riverwatch. Otherwise, I think Coconut Ridge is hard to beat. It's got better lake views, it's closer to shopping (Walmart in Smithville), and it's closer to I-40 which means you can get to Nashville and Cookeville more quickly than from Riverwatch. Otherwise, both developments are beautiful, and it would come down to flipping a coin if it were me.

Thanks, JMT. You bring up some good points (not a golfer - yet) and agree both areas are very nice. Like you said it may end up being a coin toss!
