I won't ask about the larger lakes in the area because there are plenty of resources online to learn about these places, but I've seen some homes around Lake Tansi and was curious what the fishing might be like on this or the other small private lakes near Crossville. If anyone has personal experience or a resource that I could check out, it would be appreciated. It probably doesn't matter to most people, but knowing that the nearby lakes are good fishing is important to me, particularly if I were to purchase a lakefront home.

I have a house on Lake Tansi. I have not gone fishing, but there is a fishing groups that that has competition s there each month during the season. I was told that Tansi was rated number 5 in the state for fishing.

The lakes in Fairfield Glade, a local retirement community, are great for fishing. In fact, I just saw on social media this week that a new state record was verified for a Yellow Perch that was caught in Fairfield Glade's Lake Dartmoor. I'm not sure if you have to be a resident to use the lakes or not. Perhaps someone else could advise.

Other lakes in the area include Meadow Park Lake, Byrd Lake, and Lake Tansi. I don't know much about these lakes.

Thanks folks, hopefully someone who has fished them will be along and give their first-hand accounts. I believe the lakes are only open to residents who own a lot (I know that Tansi is closed otherwise). I did see the account of the state record yellow perch, very nice. Thanks again for the replies.
