That's good to know. I'm going to need some lawn furniture, I'll go look him up. If you don't mind, PM me the info on his store and I'll swing by next time I'm over there. Thanks!

I hear there is a big spanish population there.
There are a lot of Guatemalans here...they work in the Purdue chicken plant. Some men are here alone sending money back home to their families, but some have brought their wife and kids. The sad part is that the people in Monterey don't like the Guatemalans and even the kids don't play together. My husband and I have driven by the basketball courts and on one side there where 2 or 3 white kids playing basketball and on the other court there were 2 or 3 Guatemalan kids playing basketball.

Can you tell I like Muddy Pond??
We love Muddy Pond as well but which bakery/restaurant are you talking about that sells those burgers? They sound awesome...

This is the one. I have to agree the best burgers that I think I've ever had. But...it was sold recently and I haven't tried one since.

Default Little Bit of Heaven

I just got back from vacation at Muddy Pond...it's a little bit of Heaven tucked away in TN...no words can describe the feelings you get by being there.. in 2000 I lived up there for a year...someday I plan to live there again...but for now I'll have to settle for vacations...
