Tennessee Tech University's enrollment has topped 11,500 for the first time ever, and this is the 10th year in a row that the university has had record enrollment.

In addition, Tech's enrollment is growing faster than any other TBR university, 6.4 percent. Tech's graduate enrollment increased by a whopping 9 percent in just one year.

So I guess the secret is getting out: Tech is one heck of a school and in a heck of a town! Any wonder I'm trying to get a job there?

The article in today's Herald-Citizen:

Herald Citizen - Enrollment tops 11 500 at TTU

Wonderful!!!! One reason we are so interested in moving to Cookeville someday is the fact that it has such good schools! I hope you get a job there, JMT.

I really wish they would just hire you. The Chamber of Commerce could fund part of your position since you are a one-man Cookeville PR tour-de-force!

haha Thanks! I wish Tech would hire me, too! It really is a fantastic university, and Cookeville really is a wonderful community that I wish I could be a part of.
