Does anyone have any info on Jamestown, TN. We considered moving here, but didn't seem to hear good feedback about the employment situation in the area and surrounding areas.

Jamestown, is around an hours drive of Crossville, and is sort of out in the country type setting. Not too much in the way of jobs, unless you go into Huntsville or Oneida. Its got some beautiful sights, and just a ways apart from any major towns.

Thanks for the info. The person trying to sell us the land told me 20 minutes from Crossville.

that could be correct, as its been a while since I drove it. You need to check out the area, as it is in an area, with not much close. good luck, and just check it out.

The drive is on hwy 127 which is still a somewhat curvy narrow hwy from clarkrange to crossville, best I remember. The road has been widened from Jamestown to Clarkrange.
There is very little industry in the Jamestown area and the job market is very bad in Crossville.
