Default Cookeville in March?

Hello everyone

We are trying to plan our family vacation to Cookeville the last week of March but not sure what the weather is like this time of year

We have spent winter in Chattanooga, summer in Knoxville and early fall in Jasper/Whitwell area but this time we are visiting Cookeville in Spring.

We are planning on staying at the Clarion I believe because it has a heated indoor pool which is a major necessity when traveling with children But any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks! Can't wait to visit again

March is a tricky time of year. Just when you think spring is on it's way you get a snow storm. The snow won't last long, but it's just unpredictable.

That's what I was going to say - it's kind of hit or miss. By the last week in March, it should be starting to warm up. Just check out the forecast before you come and be prepared to dress in layers

My favorite local weather guy is www.cookevilleweatherguy.com.

So glad you are getting to come for a visit!!

Weather in March. LOL. Ive seen it range from major snow storm to people going about in shorts and flip flops. Even this time of year is odd. Last week the temps were in the teens then Mondy it was 64. Go figure.

We are ready no matter what the weather. My kids have only seen snow once before, when we vacationed in Tennessee 3 years ago so they would be so stoked to see it again! But at any rate, we reserved a hotel with an indoor pool so if the weather is not exactly welcoming we are covered

The countdown begins....92 days to go

Typical High that time of year is 63 while the low is around 38...Records are 85 and 20. You'll be fine...snow is generally non-existent by then! Enjoy your trip....
