Good places in the Corpus area are Portland, Calallen, South of S.P.I.D. and west of Kozstoryz. Ocean Dr. and Alameda area, the island, Annaville, Flour Bluff, Odem, Aransas Pass, and Ingleside.

Those are all nice areas with low crime. But, living in Corpus proper, CCISD has low performing schools. Calallen, Flour Bluff, Tuloso Midway, Aransas Pass, Gregory-Portland, Odem, and Ingleside have good school districts.

I cant help you much with the state school though.

Oh.. When you said "best places to work" My mind threw in "best places to work and live".

Well there are only two hospital branches in CC. There is Christus Spohn and the Corpus Christi Medical Center.

Spohn has the Shoreline Hospital, the Trauma Center off of Crosstown, and Spohn South on Saratoga.

So in a way you don't have that much to choose from.

My niece is employed by Driscoll Children's Hospital, not sure if it's affiliated with the Medical Center/Spohn network:
