I'm not.. I like Bell.

She has a different view of Corpus.. and she repeats it over and over. I think people by now get what she has to say.. and knows her feelings about the area.

I once thought of moving to Corpus.. as I go there every fall, or summer and spend a couple weeks out there. I have seen Corpus change, some for the better, and some for the worst. Corpus has some of the same issues that El Paso does, and the only thing that will change that is the mentality of the people. You can only sit and moan for so long before you have to get up and make a change.

Corpus can be so much more than it currently is, and that can be frustrating to someone who wants to make it happen, but cant get any support, or action.

I like Corpus, and the region, I would rather live in Rockport over Corpus though.

So lets try to remember we all have our views, and were not always gonna agree.. but lets try to respect one another opinions.

Actually a thread on Texas isn't complete without RGV and Bellestar because they give great opinions with very differing views.

Amen, Amen. I wouldn't have anything to respond to if Belle didn't write something.

I only have good memories of the Corpus Christi area and Sinton, Seguin, and Brownsville, etc...as my mom grew up in Corpus and Sinton, and all those places were her old stomping grounds. She tells me stories about sneaking to Mexico with her friends instead of going where they were supposed to (like the drive in, friends houses, movies).

LOL, ok. I guess I would give her opinion more weight if she had actually been to Corpus or South Padre or Brownsville instead of dismissing them out of hand.

Because she's lived in only one city in south Texas (Kingsville) yet goes about bashing the Valley and Corpus. That's probably why they're so down on her,

My apologies, for some reason I thought you had been in Kingsville. To each their own I suppose, I know the area is not for everyone but I really like it and know plenty of others who do too
