I am not sure.. but when I go down there, It looks cleaner, safer. It has a different feel to it. I am more at ease in Rockport than Corpus.

I am moving to Corpus next week for my husband's job. He is already down there and I've visited several times. We have picked out a lovely house on the water (on The Island) and are excited about the water sports and the weather. However, it's getting increasingly frustrating in my job search. It seems as though a)you MUST know someone or be from the area to even land an interview and b)the pay scale is SO much lower than I'm used to. Does anyone have any experience in this arena?

Great pics of Corpus! Judging by the pics, the city definitely needs a major paint job and serious lawn mowing!
