Need a little more information. What amount of salary are you talking about?

You could do it but it would be tight. You'd probably pay a minimum of $700/mo for rent, $250-$300 for utilities plus all the usual expenses--food, gasoline, car insurance, etc. Do you have a car payment? Student debt? Health insurance?

A better way to figure it out might be to look online at apartments and if you see something you could afford, come back and ask if it's in a decent place. That's the main variable. You already know what your other expenses are.

Default SW here as wellking about moving back to the SW FL area as the beacg

I was wondering the same thing. I am going to finish my BSW prgm next December. I was considering and still am thinking about relocating back to SW FL but want to check out the gulf coast here. I know up here in the DFW area the jobs are plentiful for a SW w/ a BSW.
