I have read some speculation of a 3rd Disney park. Would it be viable for Disney to build a newer/bigger version of Disney World in the Corpus Christi area?

In a hurricane prone area, no I don't think so. The Dallas area would make more sense

Dallas may be too expensive for corporate to stomach right now.

In Corpus? Nope. In the RGV, never!
I just don't see Disney in Texas happening actually.

There is currently a rumor (there's always a Disney rumor) that the company is buying land near Jarrell.

I've always felt it would do best in San Antonio.

^ RGV is so disconnected from the rest of Texas let alone the country. Schlitterbahn at SPI didn't make it.

Corpus Christi is not exactly a destination for most people either except for Texans who like to visit the beaches of Port A. I just don't see either as a big draw for the rest of the country like Southern California and Florida are.

Maybe San Antonio or possibly Galveston/Houston area due to the port and Disney cruises presence.
