We stayed at some condos there a few years back Don't remember the name but they have bunk beds hanging off the wall as soon as you walk in. Place was ok but the Jelly fish were awful. They got everyone!!
Made a paste from baking soda and water ( I think) took the sting out pretty soon, just not right away. Some people think bleach will do it. Becareful there.

Now that I think about it, it was tenderizer that we used. Got a huge thing of it at the dollar store before we went. I remember someone making the same dumb joke I just made.

I recommend going to the Crazy Cajun restaurant and ordering "The Hungry Cajun" or jambalaya (or another cajun dish).

Thanks for all the tips. My son loves seafood and we love Cajun so we should enjoy it all. We are staying at the Omni Bayfront. Looks great online, hoping thats the reality!
I will bring the "paste" just to be safe. Since my son loves history we figured we would check out the Lexington but other than that want the beach and good food

When I go with the girls to Port A, our priority is getting to Dolphin Dock's for some deep sea fishing.
Another thing we like to do is to go over to the park where the ferry landing is. There is a fishing pier there where we like to hang crab nets to catch some crabs. Then of course there is the beach....

Made a paste from baking soda and water ( I think) took the sting out pretty soon, just not right away. Some people think bleach will do it. Becareful there.
