Default What ever happened to the Corpus woman iwth a child looking for an evacuee room?

Remember? she was the one asking for a room in Kingsville, offering $100/a nite, since all hotels were booked.
It was kind of strange because I never heard from her after i told her, that if she's able to pay that much a nite, she could afford to drive points west and stay in Alice, Freer, Cotulla, Pleasanton, Dilley etc.........surely she could find a cheap motel somewhere along the route, and even with gas prices, it wouldnt equal her $100/nite offer.
Never heard from her again.
But then again, it was premature-no one had to evacuate. My friends are in Flour Bluff and stayed put and did fine.
