For anyone who ever complains that there's nothing to do in and around CC, here's just a sample of what's going on this weekend.

SandFest in Port Aransas
WindFest in Portland
South Texas Shootout - Air Show (Blue Angels)

Next weekend
Texas International Boat Show
Buc Days Rodeo and other related events

Please get out there and enjoy and appreciate the great city we live in. The weather is beautiful. I'm just back home for a moment but am headed back out shortly.

We checked out the Sandfest in Port Aransas. Great beach for miles. Watched the Blue Angels from our back yard, spectacular. Next weekend we check out the boat show and rodeo. We like CC more and more every day.

I'm so bummed we missed Windfest -- I have a mini dachshund who would've had no problems participating in the races! Boo, maybe next time, lol.

There's also a fencing club based in nearby Robstown. They meet once a week, so if you are channelling your inner swashbuckler...
