Default planning on relocating to corpus

I am planning on moving to corpus christi within the next month and was wanting to know about jobs and where to start looking. Everyone tells me theres not much down there. it will be me and my two yr old. any suggestions for daycares? im moving down there for a fresh start.

ive done everything, warehouse, call center, shipping, clerical, admin that sort of stuff. in high school

There's at least one big call center here--APAC. I think the census bureau is still hiring--that wouldn't last forever, but it might be a good place to start. Texas A&M University often has clerical positions listed. There's always HEB. I think they're always hiring.

You probably need a job and a place to live before you think about daycare because it will need to be close to either your job or your house.
