produrre is on a distinguished road
I just visited Corpus this weekend and stayed at the Omni Bayfront. We didn't spend much time actually in the hotel, but it was very nice. It had nice views of the bay, clean and comfortable, though I had real problems with internet connection dropping on me. Still, I would choose to stay there each time I come into town. I liked the location and the staff was most friendly.

Villa Del Sol if you go through Elaine's condos rather than management are right on the water right over the bridge and nice. Pools and jacuzzi too. IF you go through management you have to be careful because some units are not so great... take a look first. They had a bad reputation years back as they weren't kept up but new management took over in spring. They are relatively inexpensive and there is no traffic in that area.

I also like Hunt's castle in Rockport- dont forget Rockport
