I-69/US 77 Upgrade News?
Has anyone heard of anything lately. The last article I could find about it was this:
Region to see work on I-69 : Corpus Christi Local | Caller-Times |
Other than that though, I haven't heard anything or seen US 77 being upgraded. At least not in Calallen.
Has anyone heard or anything or seen any upgrades being done?
This would be great for the economy of CC and attract a lot of new growth, much deserved attention, and business. Especially to the Calallen area.

Yeah, I was kind of curious about the progress of the I-69 corridor too.. when going down into the Valley, you see all the signs down 77 for it. How long has this project been going on?

Thats good to hear! The highway upgrade will boost the areas economy a lot! On top of that, I would imagine the Calallen area will start seeing a lot of growth. Does anyone by chance know if the 77 and 44 intersection will be upgraded to a real highway junction?

A long, long time. IIRC those signs were put up around 1997...someone correct me if I'm wrong.
