Default Moving to Corpus, Need help!

Hi there,

I am moving to Corpus in January because I am just so sick of Dallas. I love the beach and I am unhappy living in Dallas so I though this would be the best for me. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the bad parts of Corpus and what apartments would be good to look at that are close to the shore and are safe. And when I say safe I mean no ghetto people that blare rap and deal drugs and have their 8 kids running around screaming. I hate hate hate that ****.

Check out Santa Fe Arms, Chateau Santa Fe, and Bay Vista Apartments. These are all close to the water and in good areas, but still affordable. Bay Vista is the newest of the three. There are also new lofts for rent downtown. Check out nueceslofts.com

You should also look at apartments and condos for rent on the island. You'll be within walking/biking distance of the real Gulf beach and should not have any of the issues you seem worried about. You will have to evacuate if even a small hurricane threatens, but that's the only real drawback.
