Double Occupancy Fares (taxes)

I am just curious (aka nosy) about a cruise a friend is going on. It’s an Oceanus cruise around the world for six months. Fares are like $75,000 and says they are based on double occupancy. She will be sharing the cabin with a friend. So they both will be paying $75,000, correct?

Yes but read the fine print. Additional charges may include tips for the crew, billed by the cruise line, port landing fees even if you do not go ashore and taxes.
