No offense to anyone here, but Carnival is a complete and utter dump. The food is disgusting, and the people are the kind of people who are on their only vacation for the next 15 years. No thanks.

Or people who are not snobs and want to get away several times a year for a good price. I didn't see trashy people on my cruise. Maybe the East Coast is different, but out of Los Angeles it was very nice for the $330 I paid. Food was good, but I don't eat gourmet food anyways. I take several vacations a year. I hear where you are coming from, but if you jumped of the horse I could hear you better.

There are videos posted on YouTube. There were changes to the itinerary due to the hurricane. Most cruisers understand that nothing is set in stone when it comes to a cruise. External criteria can affect cruise duration and ports. The Captain is damned if he makes changes to keep the ship and pax safe, and he's damned if he doesn't.

The problem on this cruise was the big-mouth lawyer who was instigating a mob scene and the big mouth woman behind him spewing similar garbage. Watch the videos of the actual "mob scene" and also be sure to see the video of the Captain explaining his actions.

This was nothing like the video footage of the teens running amok on another cruise line last year damaging property and simply overwhelming the ship's security team.
