Justice was done. For those that don't understand it, remember this next time you get so entrenched in a position, you will realize that maybe you simply arent seeing as clearly as you think. Unanimous decision by those who knew all of the facts.

He won't be charged for 2nd degree murder which would have given him life in prison. Instead he'll (possibly) be charged with negligent manslaughter which carries 30 years of jail time.

He isn't walking away, he still killed a person.
No, he was acquitted of all charges.

Seriously, you still don't get it? Hes not going to be tried with anything else. He's a free man...period.

He's a free man as of the verdict.

There are no winners here, though. A family has still lost their son, all questions about his character aside. And a man's life is forever changed as a result of this ordeal, questions of his guilt or innocence aside. The fact is the state felt it was serious enough to charge Zimmerman, but when push came to shove they could not make their case. It was never Zimmerman's job to prove his innocence, but the state's job to prove his guilt. The jury unanimously agreed the state did not make its case.

Part 2--the civil suit. I would expect that it will be filed on Monday.
