It fits here too, as it also highlights the severity of our jobs crisis.
Who the hell are you to judge this man?
You don't know this guy. In fact, I think it's a pretty safe to say that you have never experienced whatever struggle he is/was experiencing.
This happened just three days ago. It's similar to the story posted in the OP. It's just sad that you don't get it. Regardless of what you believe, a baby's life is more important than a job.

Others should be sterilized or have their tubes forcibly tied so they can't reproduce. The procedure would solve a lot of the world's problems, child abuse one of them.
It's a no brainer that human life has more value than a job, job interview, or shopping spree. Any parent who fails to understand this BEFORE leaving your child in the car needs to be forcibly sterilized IN PRISON. Yes, that's right. Once you let your child slowly fry to death in the car you lose your parental rights or right to reproduce PERMANENTLY. Sometimes you have to be cruel to the offender (murderer) so you can be kind to the rest of society. In some countries he/she would get the death penalty for this.

No argument here. But that won't ever happen. Sleazebags like this do deserve what you are speaking of though.
some people should NOT NOT NOT have children. EVER.
Well, I think it makes sense to steer this discussion back to on that relates to the OP and employment. The OP is suggesting that it's the employer's fault that the father left the child in the car. The stance is that the employer should not overwork the father (8 hours a day) and underpay him ($120,000)... and that the business should feel guilty about it. Take a look at this post from the OP, 313Weather.

I disagree completely but it's interesting to think that people think this way.
There is nothing in this story to tie it to underpaying and overworking employers. Hopefully no employer feel unwarranted guilt over this man's actions. His actions were his own.
nobody put a gun to this guy's head and said "you must leave your child in this car."
