ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Orlando Police Department says one person was shot around 11:30 a.m. near Interstate 4 and Princeton St. in College Park on Monday.
According to the victim's account to police, another driver showed a gun in what appeared to an act of road rage. Investigators say the victim grabbed his own gun and accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Officials say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
I would have either slammed on the brakes so he'd be in front of me or accelerated to put him behind me. Only if I had no escape and he fired his weapon would I have gone for my gun.
That's why he made up his cockamamie story, because there were none.
