Knowing all too well the problems that coyotes create in Michigan, I'm sending a virtual "greenie" to all of your hounds.

They said thanks......and send many big wet kisses....

Last year our dog Rip had a coyote down...then the coyotes got Rip by the lip....he did not even slow down....then as the fight was on Angie and Karma...did their famous stretch out on the coyote....one grabs a front leg....the other a back leg and they pull.

No one taught this to them.....it is something they worked out on their own.

PETA & HSUS are writhing in anger right now........how dare you subject your pets to such violence?

Oh, wait. That's what they were bred to do.

And the APBT was bred to be a companion dog. But no, they weren't....some say.

They were bred to kill each other.

ALL pit bull types were bred to kill each other.

Meanwhile, all anti-killing machine propaganda monarchs are spouting off incidents that they swear to be true......(including those here on this message board that have witnessed several attacks).......And I wonder......Who are you hanging out with?

Anyway....virtual ear rub followed by a belly scratch in return for those big sloppy hound dog licks.

I'd boil up some liver tonight but I'm afraid it'll spoil by the time Y'all get here.....

Pitbulls are cultural. They are associated with the following behaviors/trends/items

(1) Tattoos
(2) Mixed Martial Arts/Wresting/X-Games - choose one or more
(3) Guns
(4) Gangs
(5) Trucks (plus 1 for a raised or lowered truck)
(6) Keystone/Pabst Blue Ribbon/Miller Lite - choose one or more
(7) Lack of a formal 4 year college degree
(8) Tea Party
(9) Jobs associated with the following: bouncer, bar tender, waiter, trainer, smoke shop employee, tire shop or brakes employee
(10) Weed/Cigarettes/Skoal - choose one or more

If you own a pitbull, there is a 90% chance, that you are associated with at least 3 or more of the characteristics above.

Pit bull at a tea party:

I'm not a pit bull apologist, btw. I'd just never heard of their being associated with the teabaggers, so I googled. And this pic was the first thing that popped up.

Nice broad brush there, River.

We have an APBT.

Your ignorance shines today......and I'm quite surprised. Usually, you're very informative and quite enlightening.

Not today.

Certainly that was in jest; I s'pose I missed the winks & smileys.

That's an APBT....bred to be a companion dog. Looks to be around 40lbs....ours is a little more hefty because she gets too many "greenies."

You know, little fingers & toes from unsuspecting children that happen to wander in front of our home.

Oh no.

1. I took a karate class in 1999. I swear, it was just for exercise.

2. I have guns. I like to hunt deer. I fit the mold of attack dog owner.

3. I drive a pickup truck. Usually, it's just to & fro (work), but I have the long bed to haul drywall sheets. Handy, because I don't have to bring my saw to the big orange store parking lot.

4. I smoke about four cigars per month.

So, I match 40% of your criteria to own human killing machines that eat & breathe.

Well, I do enjoy beer on occasion, but I prefer to sip on a Margarita as I'm watching my killer attack dog eat the neighbor's kittens.

I match one of those. Oh, and I was a waitress in my 20's. You ought to get out more. Many professional, educated people are pit bull owners. I have noticed that on this forum, conservative or libertarian politics seem to be more common among pit bull owners. I find that odd because in real life, the pit bull owners and lovers I know are all over the map politically. Most don't follow your stereotype at all.
