I didn’t vote because I use multiple different sources of information and news instead of any “just” one. It seems like no matter which source you use there is a chance for bias and misinformation, thus two or more different suppliers help keep the news valid and honest. Some of the best investigative reporting can be found in popular magazines these days. They provide an honest comprehensive investigative stories not the typical style of tv or radio news outlets. The credibility one source of news isn’t always what you need or should have these days.
AksarbeN, I actually use multiple sources also. I should have taken that into consideration when I designed the poll. Thanks for pointing this out.
If there is a major happening, I tune to a news channel, but otherwise I steer clear of them. The way news is often presented hits me wrong, so I rarely watch local news. I notice what is in my daily newspaper. I detest how some people think they must put their personal political view in places having nothing to do with politics.
I chose the internet. but through the internet I find news papers from virtually every major city. I like to select several sources as I feel every form of media is biased, although unintentionally.
I try to find opposing and conflicting views of every story and try to evaluate which comes closest to the probable truth.
I do not believe any news story is 100% true, but some media may come closer than others.
CNN is by far my favorite, CNN International needs some work though.
I highly dislike having to watch streams online from some random foreign network to catch up on events going on outside the country.... such horrible quality, its like i'm watching a news station from the 90s.
