I agree with you about the "massive wildfires" we get here. They ARE scary and especially when they are in your own 'backyard'. My ex was a town fireman and seasonal USFS firefighter for ten years. We only had one huge fire in our "backyard" but that was enough. Many homes lost and six firefighter deaths. A bad year.
