Quarter Horses are also the most common breed of horse in the U.S., so saying more of them go to slaughter than other breeds doesn't matter much.

Maybe someone should start a horse slaughter thread, though, instead of continuing to derail this one?

Yep....and if it doesn't look Arab or, paint/pinto.....it get called a quarter horse.
