The deal that should be reached with Boko Haram, and Isis for that matter, is " stop this now, or we will make your region a shiny piece of glass."

Boko Haram leader claims the 200 girls were married off. So they were either killed or are being raped as we speak.

Funny thing them announcing that deal when there was none. Why would they do that, it defies logic to put that out without having a deal firmly settled. That had to make the families more frustrated and angry. It's beyond sickening for those poor girls, I feel very sorry for them. I wish the world had done more. They will likely never be found now. But that's of little concern to us here, we are still up to our neck with the Iraq mess we were dropped in. So not much time for those poor girls or anything else. And Africa doesn't really much matter, like the Middle East does. I remember the genocide in Rwanda, that was hardly a news item here, we did very little to stop it, but then politicians running this country have always had a very selective conscience. With the oil in Nigeria, I thought possibly that would sway more interest in the region.

These nuts have been fighting for decades in the Middle East and will do so forever. Still we don't mind investing another 5.6 billion, while doubling the ground troops in the fruitless Iraq situation. We are entangled in a mess created from all the lies of the WMD and the fear mongering of the previous administration, all done because of their own agenda. And they leave with the sun on their backs. And we will likely not be out of this for many more years, with how many more will be spend billions spent and American lives lost? So of course these 200 girls are not our priority now. "When rich people fight wars with one another, poor people are the ones to die". ~ Jean-Paul Sartre

And at home the working poor get poorer, those on disability or those barely getting by on social security will be lucky to see a 1 percent cost of living raise despite the food costs and so forth continuing to rise much above that. The good jobs shipped overseas and being replaced with low wage positions, and the rich get richer. American humorist Kin Hubbard put it like this, "It ainít no disgrace to be poor, but it might as well be". The gangs continue to hold neighborhoods in ghettos areas hostage, killing innocent people with their disregard for human life. That's a home grown war of sorts we are not winning. Police departments do not even all have dash cams or body cams, which has created situations like Ferguson. But by all means let's forget about everything else but these lunatics and dump a few more billion down that endless black hole. It's like trying to kill off the rats in New York City, there are always more of them. How about really securing our borders, that would be a better use of funds. But there too decades of problems have been ignored by spineless politicians. These greasy lying wealthy bloated gas bags from both parties could care less about those poor girls, just another sad story turn the page and forget it. Nor do they care about the common man at home either, except just before the election. They have plenty of money, their agendas and a good life, ya have to have lots of money to even have a chance of winning in the politician game. So they all end up being carbon copies of one another, without a keeper in the bunch. In the end these types don't care about those girls or about the poor men that have and will give their lives for this useless war.
