Simply wondering why my post was ignored but this post got so many replies, please don't read anything more into my question, only wanted to learn what I was doing wrong here...............

Simple .... I originally posted it to Politics and Controversies ... which is where I believe it belongs.

Others disagreed, so it was moved here.

P&OC is the only forum where it will get lots of attention.

And I was hoping lots of dog owners would see it, and then think twice about letting their dogs roam free around the neighborhood.

A video like this would definitely leave a lasting impression on any dog owner who saw it.

As for your thread ... you might have received more replies if you were a little more descriptive in your thread title.

How do we know the cat's real motive? Maybe it's been watching that boy since he was a baby. Maybe it spent hours every day thinking, when is he going to be big enough to eat? Then along comes this stupid low class dog, and takes a bite. The cat says "Hey! That's my dinner!!!!!"

Sheer ferocity and sharp weapons beats size every time.

I grew up with a pride of half tame cats that kept our back yard and house rodent and stray dog free. The boss was an 8 pound tom cat that didn't fear anything. When a dog sniffed his way to a cat (target) rich environment the Tom lead the entire pack in the attack. It was something else to watch. The dogs didn't come back.

It's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog.

Or cat, as the case may be.
