Yes, like Paul Ryan's call to end the 40 hour week, and overtime!

36 reasons why you should thank a union

Not to mention decent wages.
More union lies for the sheeple. Most of these gains were made simply because the marketplace required businesses to lure qualified people with good benefits.

Just like the marketplace started shifting jobs overseas to divest themselves of union thuggery.

These marketplace corporations are such good people, and never hired lawyers to fight enactment of these laws either? Their deep civic pride outsourced to other countries to increase profits. Union, and non union have been outsourced, so your theory is a croc, and your message is for the sheep. I know a guy who was in management with Meryvns (non union) who got laid off at 50 when it went bankrupt. These wonderful marketplace profiteers bought Meryvns from Dayton Hudson and dismantled it for profit.

Don't get me started about Enron, Reliant, and Duke energy and how they stole 50 billion from California's citizens. Your wonderful market place has way more thugs, crooks, and thieves than any union. Union's have so much federal oversight it is ridiculous.

My guess would be you have little knowledge of Taft Hartley, the Wagner Act, the Fitzgerald Act, or ERISA laws. If corporations had reasonable requirements similar Bernie Madoff would have been jailed years ago. You do remember Bernie, and his actions in the marketplace.

Unions are not going to save your jobs.

A new car today costs near $30K.
That same car in India cost $9K (USD).

Why aren't non union cars cheaper?

Tundra starts at $24,500
F150 $23,700

And you suggested it was the unions fault? Why is the non union Toyota cost more? Should Toyota pay the same wages that are paid in third world India? Would Texan's work for such paltry wages?

Again, how is this price difference a union fault?
