Gosh, this is truly sad.
I didn't see this posted anywhere after searching.

I wonder if she thought reactions to her being in the porn movie would be different? Expecting her actions to be freely accepted by society would be naïve and unlikely to ever happen. I've noticed sometimes a major celebrity regrets some of what they did when they were younger. Saw a photo of Miley Cyrus recently and she looks like someone who has been on the street for 20 years. Maybe young girls think such a life is the thing to do.

All the talk about bullying driving her to suicide... human nature being what it is, I think it's unrealistic to think other young people would be supportive of her making the decision to perform in that movie. All the photos posted on the social sites are there for all time. People will see them and people will comment.

I think if you're going to do pornos you need the thick skin of a Kardashian or Paris Hilton. They knew that sex sells and so they did their pornos are are cashing in big time, they don't mind being "thots" in the least. Besides, it's not clear from this article that this girl exactly had it altogether in the first place, the porno was just one of the symptoms of her mental instability.

Condolences to her family. I'm always saddened anytime we lose someone, and even more so well before their time.

Facebook and social media sucks sometimes. Those with a weakness of not handling of being flamed should stay away from it. The devious fact is any male who flamed her over it probably fapped to her video also. Any female who flamed her over it on social media was probably mean to her out of jealousy of her good looks and women can be catty over that.

But then there is the fact that this woman made a free choice to be in porn and should have been prepared for the impact socially over it. Too bad someone like a true friend wasn't able to give her positive advice to disregard those flaming her and tell her she's alright as a person no matter.

You make a porno at age 19, brag about it on social media, then get your feelings hurt when the kids back home make fun of you? Sorry, that's not bullying -- that's you being naïve about life and the repercussions of your own actions. What did she expect?

The story makes it clear that this poor girl had issues in her life. Her father had been in prison. She had struggled with money and depression. As widespread and commonplace as internet porn is today, normal, well-grounded, emotionally stable young people don't go out and audition for porn videos. Most do so out of rebellion, or to prove something, or because they suffer from extreme narcism or even low self-esteem.

The grief she received over the porn vid may have contributed to her decision to take her life, but it wasn't the cause.

seems like a lot of youth today are unprepared for the harsh realities of the world, having been given so much positive reinforcement in their youth with very little negative. They seem to glaze over and some get anxiety for simply being told they did something wrong, they gotta do it this way....

In any case, what did she expect? She should have been ready for the comments and if anything just embraced them. You'll never please everyone, and who cares what people think or say? Sex does sell, she could have made some cash and paid for college.

Nothing good about this in any way shape or form. I wish she was more inner-directed & could have fended off the negativity better. Sad.

I'm not seeing a whole lot that show that the two are actually related. Lots of people who kill themselves never do porn, and lots of people who do porn don't kill themselves.

I would think she would be stronger than this!

Porn, or any adult entertainment job, is something that someone really needs to do with pride if they are going to do it. If someone taunts you then F**k them!! Certainly don't let other people's mean words damage your feelings.
