Each day, about 1,000 U.S. citizens require emergency care treatment for dog bite injury.1 The following studies examine injury occurrence and the dog breeds most likely to bite.
Dog Attack Deaths and Maimings, U.S. & Canada,
September 1982 to December 31, 2013
By compiling U.S. and Canadian press accounts between 1982 and 2013, Merritt Clifton, editor of Animal People, shows the breeds most responsible for serious injury and death.
The combination of molosser breeds, including pit bulls, curs, rottweilers, presa canarios, cane corsos, mastiffs, dogo argentinos, fila brasieros, sharpeis, boxers, and their mixes, inflict:
81% of attacks that induce bodily harm
76% of attacks to children
87% of attack to adults
72% of attacks that result in fatalities
81% that result in maiming
Embody 9.2%+ of the total dog population

Apply that same logic to some urban youths and see how far you go.

People ho have never been around pibbles have your POV. I have never seen a dog so eager to make friends and attempt to lick a human in my life. Some lady down the road from me had a little female who escaped the yard and I heard it barking at me as I was walking. I started walking toward the dog and she ran to her house where I rang the doorbell and told the lady her dog was out. Did the dog attack me? No, it was looking for help.

Yes except dogs are NOT HUMANS

You can also apply that logic to tigers. Tigers are really dangerous. That doesn't make you a racist.

This is the problem with these wacko "dog lovers". They project all these human emotions onto a dog and turn them into a person. Actually better/more important than a person! "I like dogs more than people"

SICK IN THE HEAD!

How can I avoid them? They're in parks/on streets off leash all the time. Chance of an attack is always there. You can see in the video I posted

Another example,
How about castrating urban youths? We castrate dogs.

Dogs are not people. Are people totally insane?

I'm actually not a huge dog lover. I thought I was until I started working at the vet & realized how messy & needy they are. I prefer cats, especially my cat, he's an adorable beast. And I know that certain dog species like pits ca be dangerous & aggressive. However, a huge percentage of that behavior is usually directly related to how the owner treats them. Pits can be trained just like any other dog. I will say that I probably would not own one if I had another pet, unless I had raised that dog from a little puppy or if I had a kid but other than that, I'd feel comfortable owning one. See, I can be rational in my views toward certain animals. Again, talk to your legislators instead of coming on some anonymous forum & crying in dramatics about dogs. Jeez, I can think of so many other things to waste my time over.
