Dumb animal ? Really ?! how many animals have done extraordinary things in the name of protecting their people ? Not to mention the unconditional love that few humans are capable of.

And what about man's best friend and dogs being a part of the family ? Or is that merely lip service like so much other verbal vomit that comes out of people's mouths ? If your dog is truly a part of your family you would defend it and avenge its wrongful death the same as any other family member. Straight up.

oh there's plenty of differences alright, the top one being that dogs don't suck.

Dogs also don't: yell that they hate you when you can't afford to buy them the latest electronic gadget, scream and bother other people in restaurants, become the center of the universe the second they enter a room, aren't used as excuses to miss work thereby putting more work on coworkers, they also don't add to the carbon footprint on this planet, hence contributing to overpopulation.

I could go on listing ways in which dogs are different than kids if you like :-)
