Hey everyone,

I stumbled across this forum and I realized that it would be an awesome place to see if people had any ideas. I'm trying to run a psychology study that requires having video clips of question-answer format interviews. The key is that we need some of the interviews to have a really LONG pause on the part of the interviewee after hearing a question. That is, the interviewer asks a question - maybe a difficult question - and the interviewer pauses for several seconds before responding.

Does anyone remember interviews where the interviewee takes a long pause before responding to some question? I've found a few on YouTube but I haven't found many. If any of you have memories of interviews like these, let me know! Thank you so much!

Mike

If you haven't already done so, do a search on youtube entering the phrase "interview awkward pause". More than a few came up when I tried it.

Sounds like Obama. He'll usually throw out a few "uhhhs" and generally talks real slow while he gathers his thoughts.

Not a fan, but it is real nice to have a Pres that thinks before he speaks
