Your point in this discussion doesn't appear to be to learn anything new, but rather to bash liberals for some unknown reason. You seem to be under the belief that all the liberals / progressives are getting every thing for free, while you are somehow left holding the bill. These were EMPLOYEE benefits. Part of your compensation for WORKING there.

Back on topic, Hobby Lobby may have made a huge financial mistake here. Most of it's customers are women.

This in a nutshell. How many men really shop at Hobby Lobby? They are SCREWED. Hope they bought their contraceptives....

Every single one of the SC FEMALE Justices voted against this and in no uncertain terms. We women don't have short memories and will REMEMBER this and all the other attacks lately on women's health.

I'm just sorry it takes this kind of nonsense for that to happen.
I'm sorry as well.

I can't help but think that all this spiteful nonsense is a distraction for what is really going on behind the scenes.

For years HL health insurance has covered the exact same birth control methods they fought all the way to the Supreme Court over. They buy their inventory from China, a nation infamous for its forced abortions. Their retirement fund is invested in companies that manufacture the very items they claim to oppose.

So what's really going on?

I'm guessing alphamale (gotta love that name) mostly listens to radio talk shows and watches just the one channel.

Hypocrisy is what is going on. The fact that HL invests in the same items they claim to oppose says it all.

Without minimum wage laws, what do you think you'd have been making in 1980?

Who do you think was responsible for lobbying and getting minimum wage laws passed?

Who do you think got work safety, overtime, 40 hour week, child labor laws passed? The robber barons?

Please. Be serious.

+1 on this. You make an enemy out of a man? He'll kick your ass and then it will be over. Make an enemy out of a woman? That's an enemy for life.

But aside from hypocrisy, what is going on?

This seems to me to be a lot of effort to be publicly exposed as a hypocrites, to have the Supreme Court shown up kowtowing to the conservatives.

This has been an eye opener to every woman in this country, and every man who loves a woman be it mother, wife, daughter, lover, friend...
