Ad if they care so much about covering "reproductive and sexual health" why do they cover viagra and vasectomies? That is the same sort of thing.
It's not "women's health," it's birth control--birth control which, BTW, would be covered if it were needed for a medical issue such as endometriosis, for example.
As much as some women want to play the victim here, no one is restricting access to birth control.

People who do not want to use birth control, get abortions, have blood transfusions, use antidepressants... or anything else their particular churches are against, are free to do so. There is nothing in the law that prevents them from declining to use that part of their health coverage.
However, those who do wish to avail themselves of common medical procedures and medications should be allowed that option.

This kind of thinking is so wrong-headed that I don't even know where to start.
Your point in this discussion doesn't appear to be to learn anything new, but rather to bash liberals for some unknown reason. You seem to be under the belief that all the liberals / progressives are getting every thing for free, while you are somehow left holding the bill. These were EMPLOYEE benefits. Part of your compensation for WORKING there.
Back on topic, Hobby Lobby may have made a huge financial mistake here. Most of it's customers are women.
Well, what I do know is that for ever day that passes, more and more people are getting and less and less people are working to support the ones getting.

Go work somewhere else if you don't like their policies. No one is forcing you to work there. Go find a company that thinks like you do and get them to pay for your contraception desires.
Read your own post, you seem to believe that someone owes you something. They do not. You have a free choice in the USA, exercise it and go work for someone who wants to pay for your contraception supplies.

I find it so odd that they are forcing their preferences on others under the guise of their religion.
As has been noted several places, Hobby Lobby invests funds in contraceptive manufacturing companies and buys a boatload of inventory from China with all its abortions. Seems like a truly religious outfit would not be involved in either of these despicable endeavors.
This is little more than the right wing undermining the rule of law and replacing it with religious nonsense.
Our founders were clear that allowing religion into politics would put us on the road to hell.
It's not surprising, it's all the right wing does at this point. They have no issues other than abortion, gays and guns. They actually hate america and most of its people.
It was an extremely SAD DAY for Americans and especially for women. Hobby Lobby is a business and regardless of the SCOTUS businesses are not people. HL has huge investments in businesses which make contraceptives including those which can terminate a pregnancy and you won't see them divesting those investments any time soon. HL owners are hypocrites beyond words. I hope they fail and soon.
The bolded part keeps being completely ignored and not just on CD either. The hypocracy from the HL cheerleaders is every bit as nauseating as HL itself.
Edited to add: There are threads in the politics section where this was mentioned. The cheerleaders insist HL has nothing to do with the investments, that they are managed by others. Nonsense. HL could very well demand their only investments/401K adhere to their principles. What conservatives don't understand is that Freedom of Religion is also Freedom FROM Religion.
I want both. If HL tries to force their employees to attend worship or fires them because they practice beliefs that don't align with there's then that wouldn't be freedom from religion. Right now HL employees can practice any religion they see fit and if they want to use those contraceptives they can (despite them being against the owners beliefs) without fear of retribution.

Maternity leave certainly isn't in Hobby Lobby Land. Clearly they should rename it cheap land. Wait till the ban cancer treatments. I am positive fertility treatments aren't women's health either.
