But a front news headline that is about human achievement, and improvement in our sciences!
BBC News - Rosetta: Comet lander Philae now stable - scientists

Opinions? Why can't we have more good news like this! LOL

I agree that is an awesome achievement and good news. I'd rather see more news like that and I certainly would rather see our kids get more excited about science than Kim Kertrashians latest nude photos.

Sadly the train wreck gets more notice then the daily safe operations. The same goes with the news, Obama care, Obama amnesty, Isis, those are hot topics that get people excited.

I agree lets have more good news. Perhaps there is room for a news network that only reports on positive achievements?

The landing of "Philae" on Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko is an amazing achievement. This gave me a reminder of something called hope, hope that maybe someday we as a people can learn to live with each other and to learn about this fascinating Universe instead of fighting and killing each other.

We have a section in our local newspaper (at least online) here in Las Vegas called PositivelyLV.. only positive news. I read it every day, and find it nice that it's available, but find it sad that there needs to be a completely separate section for it..

That's actually an awesome idea!! I wish more news outlets would do the same thing.
