90 minutes past my SCHEDULED doctor's appointment.

The Dofusdoc arrogantly came out at the 90 minute point and very snottily told me "it's going to be another 45 - 60 minutes"................I said, no it's not, I'm leaving. Boy was that jerk p*****ed off.

DMV...about 1.5 hours. Well, midnight release of Call of Cuty as well, that was about 3 hours.

Waited in line about an hour or so to see Deep Throat at the Pussycat Theater in West Hollywood when it first came out. There was a party atmosphere of males and females, and people kept crossing Santa Monica Blvd. to visit a liquor store to make the wait more tolerable. It was a very raucous crowd when we finally got in to see the movie.

I slept over night outside a concert venue back in the 80s to get tickets to a hot concert.

Those were the days!

5 1/2 hours in John Wayne airport with my girlfriend waiting for her plane to leave for San Francisco just before Christmas 2012. Weather conditions at SFO had them down to one runway. My lady friend is one of those nervous types that does not handle even minor crises well, so could not just leave, stayed and kept her company and calm.

As for myself, standing in line is not something I do willingly. When told at a restaurant that there is a 30 minute wait for a table, about half the time have said no and gone elsewhere. Would never, ever, stand a long time in line to purchase some techie toy or silly plaything.

Ah yes, that does bring back memories. "Hurry up and wait" was the rule, or so it seemed. Be rushed very quickly from one place to the next, and then stand there and wait. 30 minutes would have actually been a pretty short time to wait at NTC San Diego, or so my old memory recalls.

I think we waited about two hours to go on Indiana Jones the last time we went to Disneyland.

About 10 hours in the general admission queue for a U2 concert.

Most recently just over 3 hours for a Pearl Jam poster at their Cincinnati concert last month.

5 hours for Record Store Day in April.

Seems all my long waits in line are music related
