You can sugarcoat it and call them what you want, but rioters and looters are still law-breakers, and they should be thrown in jail for disturbing peace and damaging property intentionally.

If they looted your neighborhood, and trashed your property, scared the your wife and kids to death -- would you still call them "naive" and "easily swayed?"

I am not even talking about those left-wing radicals who organized this lawlessness and destruction.

Well, just look at any high school or college football team to see how physically powerful an 18 year-old can be. There's also a reason why men the age of 18 are allowed to enlist in the military. This is when males reach the beginning of their peak physical development.
LOL!!! Aren't cops supposed to be physically fit and able to defend themselves as well?

The NFL is the employer so if they don't have a problem with their show of political statements, that's that isn't it?

For my money, I'm going by Wilson's "injuries." Sorry babe, but those aren't life threatening. They aren't even injuries you'd go into work late over. To shoot an unarmed suspect 6 times over those "injuries" is callous and stupid.

Finally, it appears on some common sense is coming about with good people speaking up!

There are a lot of people who believe in free speech and opinions, unless your opinion disgrees with theirs. Barkley spoke his mind and that's it.

I admire his courage to do so, as a celebrity, they often go with whatever is popular or PC in order to maintain their popularity.
Calling him a sell out has nothing to do with people's opinions on his speech.

Speaking English isn't some kind of morality barometer.

Dress appropriately according to whom? Some of the sleaziest and perverted people I've come across in life wear suits.

Why does an 18-year old thug and criminal become a celebrity, yet no one talks about black 18-19 year soldiers who die in battles?

For some, our values are upside-down.

Rioters definitely should be punished severely, if for no other reason than to educate others who might go down the same path. I'm just pointing out that they were the biggest dupes and suckers out there and were taken advantage of.

And even though there were left wing radicals stirring the pot in Ferguson, if the media hadn't been provocateurs in this situation, no one would have ever paid attention to the black panthers, communists and other liberal groups on the ground in Missouri.
