Just actually happened...

It's a long story....

This guy was caught having sex in bed with the neighbors' boy. Evidentally it was a regular thing.
Long story short, he did just a little time, did his probation, and went to work as a dispatcher for
his mother's Taxi agency....after 2006, he had no further incidents, so, hopefully, he learned his lesson.

Anyway, the guy just won $3 Million, and is a Millionaire now......could not have happened to a nicer molester, eh?

Luck and fate evidently not on the side of justice....oh well...

Here is Timothy Dale Poole's mugshot....

And a pic of him celebrating his winnings, holding the proverbial "giant lotto check"....I suppose he still has to stay on the watch list, but I presume he does not care at this point, being a multi-millionaire..

Here is the story...he won the lotto last Saturday, Dec.6.......

Convicted sex predator wins $3 million lottery jackpot | News - Home

What do you folks on CD think about this?

I don't think anything about it. He did a crime, served his sentence, and won $3M.

would I let my children go play at his house, no. but him winning the lottery has nothing to do with that.

From your story he was convicted and tried served his time and has evidently reformed his ways, i see no reason to cast derogatory aspersions on his current good fortune.

Poole went to prison after reportedly admitting that a family friend's 9-year-old would sleep in the same bed with him and he would sometimes wake him up to perform a sex act. However, Poole denied the allegations and ended up plea bargaining the case down to 13 months time served.

However, after breaking his probation by not attending mandated classes, a judge sent him to prison in 2003. He served three years and has not been in trouble since.

Ugh, I think I just threw up a bit on that one. Poor kid, 9 years old? I somehow can't be happy for this guy. Look at the size of this POS.

And life has never been fair. The good guys almost never win.

This guy's medical bills will eat up that 3M in no time. I predict he will be broke again in 5 years or less. IF he is still alive.

Well now he's a rich sexual predator. Big deal. I wouldn't trade being him for all the $$$ in the world. He's still a predator.

Maybe he sits around too much dispatching cabs, imagining he consumes a ton of chips and such during the day(being so large).

Per the kid making it up, I don't buy that, not to mention he was convicted of the same. Children don't often make things like that up. Why would this guy even say he did it, and backtrack and recant the story later? Does that sound normal to say sometimes he would wake up and molest him? Sounds nuts. Irregardless if the guy did do it or not, obviously he is not all there, at the very least.

If I was the family of the kid, and just saw this guy won, and is opting for 2.2 Million all at once, I would hire a lawyer and try to get a good chuck of it, now that he has cash, before he puts the whole chunk into his mothers' taxi company.

Maybe he'll get a gastric bypass surgery now..If he's stupid enough to molest a young boy, I guarantee you he's not good with money. Don't forget Uncle Sam takes a nice chunk out of that so he won't be a multi-millionaire..
