I'm ignoring it because it's irrelevant. We all know what the word means.

You are committing a distraction fallacy. Nothing more to it than that. If the word is unacceptable then it should be unacceptable by all.

Good-ness. There should be a test people need to pass in order to breed children.
On this point I completely agree. If that test included, are you married to your partner and can you financially and morally support your kids, then I predict the nonsensical African American Sub-culture would be none existent. Instead, there would be Americans, some of which are Black. It's like this in every other majority White 1st world country where Blacks live.

1. No one here has even implied that what the waiter did was acceptable.

2.Interesting how this was the "third strike" for the waiter. I would have liked to know about those incidents. Maybe he insulted a white male or two. Heaven knows, that's always acceptable.

3. The best way to "not make a big deal about" something? Call CNN.

Maybe in the waiter's native tongue, the N word is not an offensive term. He labeled the receipt, so that he would not forget who to gibe it to.

So now waters result to insults instead of spiting in people's food.

I did laugh when the offended parties were upset with racist labels and would have preferred sexist labels, per the article.
I drove a cab in NYC and this was absolutely true. After you get stiffed on the tip you have to drive back to civilization to get another fare which really sucked.

But oh, they might listen to rap music so they deserve to be called the n word.

Give me a break.
The problem I see is when blacks condone other blacks when using the word but God forbid any non black uses it.
