The part I don't like is the shooting through a door. A little hair triggered, if you ask me. If I suspected someone was breaking in I would dial 911 but have my gun ready if the door opened and I had identified an unknown person.

Memo to self, never give any of my lady friends a gun.............I am always doing unexpected romantic things !

Don

Based on what I know of military spouses (dependapotamuses, as they are known in the wild), she was likely cheating on him and meant to do that.

Either way, it was extremely reckless and irresponsible. That woman should not be allowed to have a gun.

Of course, the police used the old "She's a girl and she was scared" defense.

Anything is possible. But it sure does show that you're incorrect about your hypothesis:

Randomly shooting through a closed door...wow.

Also...redheads, strippers, and anyone named Tiffany. He should have known.

You got to be really stupid to break into houses in an area where military folk are known to live.

Isn't this roughly the same scenario as Pistorius? He shot and killed his girlfriend through a bathroom door. Luckily for this lady, her husband didn't die.
