I can't agree at all. I really believe the Australian that owns fox news is enjoying what he created. A big divide in the US. He is laughing all the way to the bank. Of course most fox watchers use "leftist", "liberal" and whatever the extreme description is the flavor of the month. It is sad some Americans fall for fox and a host of other fear driven/shock value money making press outlets. Oh well, we all pay for the likes of that Australian's money making machine.

I really wouldn't pay attention to sites like the Daily Mail, the New York Post, the Daily News, etc. Those sites are nothing more than grocery store tabloids.

The others are nothing more than online news-wannabes, filled with click-bait.
ChessieMom,

The Daily Mail article I linked sources the New York Post as their source. It's very clearly linked. Now if you check you will find the New York Post is owned by News Corp. It's owned & controlled by the same people who own Fox News, namely Rupert Murdoch.

I hope that makes you feel better about the topic now.

Right.

The same thing can be said for you as well, GG. Your the same type of person you claim the other poster to be, just on the opposite side of that coin.

Oh and you forgot my favorite word..."*******".

Why should it? Rupert Murdoch is a businessman, with many holdings, and I have no idea, and don't care, how many and what they are. They certainly don't have to be the same "flavor" holding to be owned by the same person. The New York Post is a tabloid newspaper, with far different mission than FOX network.

This is from the wiki on the New York Post:
Murdoch imported the sensationalist "tabloid journalism" style of many of his Australian and British newspapers, such as The Sun (for a long time, the highest selling daily newspaper in the UK). This style was typified by the Post 's famous headlines such as "Headless body in topless bar" (shown on the right). In its 35th-anniversary edition, New York Magazine listed this as one of the greatest headlines. It also has five other Post headlines in its "Greatest Tabloid Headlines" list

Maybe. but there are similar arguments made that US cable news is nothing but tabloidism at it's worst these days. No matter, you can choose to read the article or simply dismiss it without reading because it can be nothing but pointless tripe. If you dismiss it, then I assume you are done with the topic.
