I am going to file an online petition on change.org to mark this day as a national holiday.

If it doesn't work, every Saturday before the Superbowl we should all attend church one day early and give thanks to Jesus for the fact that he has not forgotten us, and the brave policemen who protect us from thugs and Islam.

3) Out of wedlock births rates/single parent rates have been on the rise for years. And Blacks have historically had the highest out of wedlock birth rates/single parent rates going back to the days of Jim Crow, so to be perfectly honest, Blacks have been on the bottom from day one.
Talking about today's crime, STD, out of wedlocks vis--vis Jim Crow, which was more than 20 yrs. ago. As for out of black out of wedlocks, in 1963 = 25%; today 70%.

Baltimore population 1960, just under a million; today 600,000+.

More spread out today, more space. 200+ murders.

In 1960, more densely-packed. 105 murders statewide. Baltimore murders in 1960 unknown but assuming all were from Baltimore, there were still far less than today.

The population density excuse doesn't seem to fly.

Also, racial oppression was more widespread in '60.

And the out of wedlock birth rates were much lower for everyone else. Furthermore, everyone's out of wedlock birthrates have gone up.

And you skipped over something else. Prohibition was during Jim Crow times. Crime spiked alot in those days.

Can you refute the fact there things like incest, rape, and serious drug problems are occurring up there, especially with the oxycontin?

And the drugs of the 70s and 80s played a major part. After the heroin, cocaine, and crack hit the streets, things went crazy. Baltimore is still far more crowded than Appalachia. Show me where I've lied. Show me where everything I've said was a lie. Prove to me that poor Blacks in rural areas have murder rates as high poor Blacks in the inner cities.

BTW, Black murder rates were very high in the early 1960s. Go look up the Moynihan Reports.

I am not the one talking about the Jim Crow era, you are. I only care about what is going on NOW. But since you feel it necessary to bring up things like Jim Crow in this discussion, I have decided take it on by showing you that the social problems the Black underclass is going through are nothing new, and took place during Jim Crow.

Yep. they all went up. LBJ told the baby mamas -- white and black -- not to worry about hunting down the baby daddys for support because the guvamint will support 'em. Liberalism wiped out families.

As for Prohibition, the crime in those days was still less than what we have today.
