An Arab-American civil rights organization has asked "American Sniper" director Clint Eastwood and actor Bradley Cooper to denounce hateful language directed at U.S. Arabs and Muslims after the release of the film about a Navy marksman
Islamophobia in action.
The mentality behind the real life man who inspired 'American Sniper' was NOTHING like it was portrayed in the film. Is he hero or Killer?
I would not doubt that this film is sparking violence, tension and threats.
Some of the Twitter and Facebook comments have been particularly vile in regards to this, about wanting to pick up arms and kill an Arab, things like that.
One thing about the internet, seems to spur on the anonymous cowards.
I thought it was a great movie and I don't actually care what the "real" guy was like, it doesn't matter one iota. He did what he was trained to do so I think he did good.
After this organization officially, publically and without qualification denounces:
Isil
Al Qaeda
The murder of homosexuals by the Iranian government
honor killings of raped women
punishments for women who want to drive in Muslim countries
Boko Haram
The selling of women into slavery in Muslim countries
the killing of Afghan girls who want to go to school
Parasitic Muslims who go to other countries and kill cartoonists
"Lone wolf" Parasite Muslims
The wars Mohammad fought to establish his "religion of peace"
The wars of apostasy
That everywhere Muslims share a border with non-Muslims they kill "infidels"
The fact that Muslims constantly kill each other as "heretics"
The bounty placed on Salmon Rushdie's head
The invasion of the west by Muslims who have no intention of assimilating
The women who is crying because the cops made her take off her hijab for a mug shot.
The Muslims in Sweden responsible for the rape epidemic
Mohammed himself for being a child rapist
And on and on and on. We could literally go infinitely, as Muslim atrocities occur faster then I can write them.
The fact is, the days when people are sympatric to this kind of crying are rapidly coming to a close. If they want others to respect them, then they need to start by apologizing and cleaning their own houses.
And that is not just "radical Muslims" or "Islamicists" or the "tiny minority," that is every single practitioner of the religion of peace. Every one of them needs to apologize for not doing enough to denounce the poison that is at the very core of their religion, and for bringing that poison to the west.
Until they do so and commit to serious reform of their religion, they should probably get used to the "islamaphobia," which is really just the immune system of Western nations recognizing a parasitical virus and kicking in, and get real used to being on the losing end of the violence that they have brought with them to their homelands. They have awakened the sleeping giant.
I'll bet that by this time next week, there will be dozens of young black men killed by other young black men, but not one shooting of a muslim by an NRA member.

The head of the group is an Arab Christian. He was on TV last night.
Strange how these "groups" never make a public stink against the Muslims they claim pervert their religion which then contributes to the "Islamophobia" they're crabbing about now.

The first question that comes to mind is "did you know Chris Kyle?" If not, how do you know his mentality?
Secondly, Chris Kyle and other snipers save many, many soldiers lives not to mention innocents. Whether we should have been in Iraq or not is beside the point and has nothing to do with Kyle or what he did.
Snipers do way more than just shoot people, they find safe routes in and out of areas so the other soldiers have a better chance of staying alive, they do recon and many other things with the only goal to keep OTHERS safe and they do it mostly alone.
It's my opinion that the detractors of this movie are either in denial about exactly what/who we're fighting or, sympathize/agree with the radical muslim ideals.
In one or two cases the vocal detractors are just blow hard wind bags who are trying to make themselves relevant again after thankfully fading into obscurity.
