This story makes me sick to my stomach. This poor animal was buried alive!! ZOMBIE Cat has an
owner with a 'DEAD" brain. Headlines should read
"Zombie Brained Man buries his cat alive."

Bart the cat hit by car, buried and then crawls from grave

Ugh, my heart hurts for this cat. I saw the newsclip w/the owner & the neighbor. The guy swore the cat was dead after it was hit by a car which is why they buried it. I don't know, a part of me wants to believe it but another part of me knows how people can be & that he very well may have just buried the cat alive because he thought it would die anyway. Poor poor baby. I hope he has a full recovery.

I don't think or at least hope he didn't bury it because he thought it would die anyway. It was more like an act of stupidity. Hello...has the guy never heard of rigor mortis? There is NO reason for
burying an animal alive.

He did say that the cat was cold & stiff.

Not being a vet, I don't think he could have been stiff.

Who's freaking out? I find the story sad because I have a cat so it resonates with me.
