Many of the unaccompanied children who came across the border last year did bring immunization records with them. There were some cases of chickenpox, some colds and diarrhea, scabies and head lice, but no active tuberculosis. Those for whom immunizations were indicated received them.

There's a reason why Swine Flu, Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, and now Measles outbreaks all happened in Southern California. That's right on the Mexican border.
Like it or not, if you think that all the illegal aliens being allowed to enter this country are NOT bringing with them diseases that we here in the USA thought were eradicated, you are sadly mistaken. TB is a HUGE issue in Mexico, and you will see more of that in active outbreaks as well. Those here in the US not getting vaccinated by choice will only help spread the problem unfortunately.

Right. UNICEF - Immunization - Why are children dying? Why are children dying? This is an older link, but does a good job of laying out the diseases kids die of world wide, including some that people scoff at immunizing against in the US, like rotavirus.
There's no scientific proof for what you said. The outbreak in CA shows that's not true.

If that's true the most likely explanation is that places with measles cases tend to be more stringent about vaccination while ones that don't get complacent.
According to the CDPH: "Vaccination status is documented for 34 of the 59 cases. Of these 34, 28 were unvaccinated, one had received one dose and five had received two or more doses of MMR vaccine." The vaccine is not 100% effective, and there are reasons other than being a "crack pot" why people are not vaccinated (ie. medical reasons, age). Overall, the vaccination rate in the USA is 91% so the "crack pots who think they know better" are very few, and aren't necessarily to cause of the outbreak or the reason why it spread so wide. If they really were a problem then these outbreaks should be many and involve tens of thousands of people annually. But in fact aside from 2014, the number of cases has only been c. 40 to 200 per year.
So, the unvaccinated aren't the reason it spread so wide.....yet they make up the vast majority of the people....that spread it to others as evidenced in your very own post.
Wait until they come out with a flow map of how it spread out of disneyland if they haven't already.

SoCal is an epicentre for vaccine preventable diseases because the affluent white people think they're too good for vaccines. Or have I misread Marin county's median income data?
So that completely disproves the notion that vaccinations cause measles.
The post said vaccinations are correlated with measles. Not the same thing, though he was probably trying to imply causation as well.
